LIFE: Success

We went to Sussex for a wedding last weekend and we were seated next to three what I would normally refer to as 'highly successful couples'.

There was an estate agent (whose wife I never got to speak to), a buyer for Waitrose, a child psycologist, a crime scene investigator and a social worker/carer.

These people weren't much older than I am and they seem to have achieved so much more than I could have even dreamed of. Even one of their incomes was more than mine and the Lads put together.

I sat there with my goats cheese tart in front of me and felt poor. In every.single.way.

REVIEW: ST. Tropez Gradual Tan Classic

I've faked tanned before. I've been orange before. I didn't fancy it again.

But, there's nothing quite compares to having a nice glow that warms your cockles when you put on a pair of crisp white converse and a swishy skirt for the first time of the year. Tans look good.

Or rather, they look good when they're not orange.

LIFE: Five Ways to Read More

1. Not all books are easy to read at all times.
The majority of people I speak to wanting to read more are stuck on a book and it's taking an absolute decade for them to get through. On the one hand I applaud them for sticking at it. On the other I, personally, would much rather put a book I'm not enjoying down, pick up and read one I do and then come back to the original when I can face it. Some books just need a different head space and if you're not in that space then they won't come easy to you.

REVIEW: L'Oreal BrowArtist Plumper

If you want a product that holds your brows in shape all day with a bit if colour thrown in there, this L'Oreal Plumper is definately the product for you.

This product really holds my brows in shape. I rarely trim them so I have quite long brow hair though it's also pretty light coloured so normally they don't look too Stig-of-the-dumpish.

REVIEW: L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Re-balancing Shampoo

I'm all for a new shampoo. Especially one that will tend to my greasy roots whilst moisturising my dry ends. This Extraordinary Clay shampoo sounds like a dream product - amirite? Well, yes and no.

BAKE: Bread

The other day I decided to make bread.

NOTE: If you've never had camembert and crusty bread, stop what you are doing and go and buy some now. It's amazing. And we happened to have some camembert in the fridge...

REVIEW: L'Oreal Infallible Matte Max Lipstick

Since my first dabble with lip products earlier this year I've decided that dark, colourful lips are more suited to my skin than light, beigey ones. I enjoy wearing them more and I get a lot more use out of them.

So on my latest shopping trip I picked up the Matte Max Lipstick in Oops I Pink It Again

It's part of the new L'Oreal Infallible range and despite being tempted by the other products, this one stole the show for me.

Hello April

April, April, April.

March went by so fast and now here we are on the cusp of mid Spring. Though it doesn't feel like it. And April is living up to it's wet stereotype already.
